Spurgeon - The Secret of Power in Prayer (John 15:7)

spurgeonThis sermon was first preached at the Metropolitan Tabernacle, Newington on January 8, 1888.  It is a well read sermon that is well worth listening to more than once.

The sermon centers on just what the text is speaking about, that is, abiding in Christ while letting the words of Christ abide in you.  This IS the secret of power in prayer.

    Hi!

    I like some material of this site. I don’t understand all the weird and suspicious links that appear in th comments.

    I listened with great interest and delight to this reading of Spurgeons sermon. I have been reading the sermon in a slightly modernised form and after hearing this sites recording managed to find what I suppose is the original.

    I would like to know about the recording - who read and how do you put something like that on a web page.
